4wk Hill Climbing Clinic Group Coaching for women who are BEGINNERS. Learn all there is to know about how to climb a hill with ease, speed and strength. Learn the skill of a smooth pedal stroke speed, seated & standing climbing and other the hill skills, rollers, comfortable releasing the breaks-downhill speed and more.

LOCATION: Gatineau Parc P8 & Asticou

Wk 1 BEGINNERS – Thursdays 6-7pm: April 25- May 23
Focus: Becoming a Smarter and Stronger Hill Climber starts with the right skills

Ascending hills
Descending hills
Gear management
Standing climbing
Seated Climbing
Pedal Stroke

W k1: Intros, BIke Form evaluation (how you climb hills), bike set up, explanation of skills
W k 2: Seated to standing, transition in the saddle out of the saddle, changing gears on the hill

W k 3: Rolling Hills, fast descent & punchy hill sprint
W k 4: Use skills, and repeats on Pink Lake Hills.

ONLY 6 spots per session in the beginners groups.

PREREQUISITE: Must have completed the Beginners course first.
Advanced Skills: Adding speed and tactics, sprinting, more emphasis on pedal stroke speed, seated to standing climbing with smoother transitions, cornering on hills. 
Particpants needs to feel comfortable with speed, going UP the Hills and DOWN the Hills.
